I am dedicating my first post on Substack to serve as a witness in time. It will be a bookmark that someone called out the Zionist occupation's plans in Palestine before they were enacted. I hope that none of this will come true.
"Operation New Gaza" is my educated-guess as to what the occupation will call its newest phase. New Gaza will fulfill three of the occupation project's aims at once: First, ONG will serve as another vein PR attempt. Second, it will provide more profiteering, mainly off of the US taxpayer. And third, it will be a means to further subjugate and control the native people.
Based on the occupation project's track record, the many convenient coincidences, and what has been said by Zionists officials, here are three things to know about the next phase of the occupation of Palestine.
1- The occupation will become the main "provider of aid" to the Palestinians
The US has tried to pivot itself as the provider of aid1 to the Palestinians of Gaza. The "aid delivery2" function will eventually be handed off to the occupation, but will be funded by American taxpayers. The sources of the goods will be Israeli businesses or Israeli-friendly corporations3.
In early March, the US "came to the rescue" by airdropping trivial amounts of prepared meals. The World Food Programme and dozens of non-profits from every continent but Antarctica had thousands of semis lined up outside of Gaza. Most of these were on the Egyptian side. Joe Biden announced that the US would build a pier to allow for aid to be delivered by sea. This time-consuming task is to allow for UN-alternatives to bring in aid. Whether by land or sea, all aid entering Gaza would need the occupation’s blessing anyway. Had Biden’s intent been to alleviate the urgent need for food, baby formula and medicine, he would have simply permitted for the thousands of tons of aid to be ferried from Egypt’s coast to Gaza’s. The US and Israel’s bypass-the-UN game4 came at the cost of Palestinian children. At least 18 kids and babies died of hunger already. Hundreds of thousands may suffer lifelong impairments because of malnourishment during their critical development years.
The spin from child-murder apologists5 like Eylon Levi will go something like this: "Have you ever seen a country provide aid to people who want to wipe them off the map? Israel is the most moral country in the world.”
Placing the occupation and the US as the aid-givers also adds another shock collar on Palestinians; by design, the occupation already controls all movement in and out of Gaza6. Also by design, the occupation also controls the water, fuel and electricity that goes into Gaza. This has always been presented with the PR of “Israel provides free electricity to Gaza.” The occupation can and has cut those off repeatedly as collective punishment.
2- The occupation will "provide job opportunities" to the Palestinians of Gaza and eastern Palestine
“Israel has issued over 15,000 work visas for civilians in Gaza to work in Israel,…” - AJC PR article
Palestinian men will be "employed" in "reconstructing Gaza.” This will be done with US taxpayer money going to Israeli contractors. Palestinian men will become more or less prison-laborers, or migrant-laborers in their own land. Even the concept of being employed is laughable; Palestinian children and adults, both before or after October of 2023, have been murdered at gunpoint or kidnapped and tortured on IOF7 soldiers’ whims. Under the occupying power’s savagery, just being alive is arbitrary; This reality will not disappear in the prison that is New Gaza.
The economic problems in Gaza and eastern Palestine are because of the 17-plus-year siege and the decades-long occupation. Aside from having a 99% literacy rate, the Palestinians of Gaza are relatively some of the most educated people in the world. All of that scholarship and hard work is nullified by the siege. There are no opportunities to move about, trade with the outside world, have an economy, or to practice professions in any real capacity, with relatively few exceptions oh-so-graciously allowed by the occupation. Those handful of Palestinians on “work visas into Israel” were already migrant day-laborers in their own land. Even fishermen are not allowed to safely work the same shores that their ancestors did. Israel will "come to the rescue" by "providing job opportunities".
Since October, Israel has suspended most work permits from the West Bank Palestinians. These work permits were a prototype of this planned slave-labor system.
3- The occupation will "deradicalize" Palestinians…. by erasing their identity
“Hamas must be destroyed, Gaza must be demilitarized, and Palestinian society must be deradicalized.” - Benjamin Netanyahu, Dec 2023
Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Palestinian society must be “deradicalized”. What does that mean in practice? One can get an idea from far-right Israeli efforts against Palestinian citizens of Israel. We can also see the uninhibited and openly criminal pattern of identity erasure after October.
Israeli educational authorities have long sought to remove ideas about "Palestine" from Palestinian schools not only in present-day Israel, but what is left of occupied Palestine. Remember that the terminology used by Netanyahu is taken from the War on Terror playbook. Anyone standing up to empire or the military-industrial complex will likely be labeled as a terrorist or extremist. His use of "deradicalize" conjures ideas similar to Canada's "residential schools" for indigenous children. The occupation will attempt to take charge of "education,” just like how they will try to take charge of the "security,” aid, and economy. However, this curriculum will be one of Zionism-affirmation and Palestine-denial.
Zionists have often intentionally referred to the Palestinians as Arabs. This is along the lines of calling someone from Texas "English" instead of a Texan, American or Mexican-American. When Zionists mention their aggressions against their neighbors, they are called the Jordanians, Egyptians, and so on; when talking about the native population, Zionists use the generic label of “Arab.” The people in the areas around Palestine called its people Palestinians, not Arabs.
Ancient mosques and churches have been pulverized8. Cemeteries have been erased out of existence. Libraries, museums and schools have been leveled. Universities have been demolished9.
Both before and after October, the IOF have gone into overdrive to erase any traces of Palestinian identity. Olive trees, a symbol of Palestinian heritage, have either been uprooted or burnt in both eastern Palestine10 and Gaza. Sheep, cattle, horses, donkeys, cats, herd and feral dogs, and rabbits, are all animals associated with falaah11 life; countless have been mass slaughtered either by IOF bullets or "precision" missiles.
Aid encompasses many things for individuals, families and organizations. It primarily refers to food essentials such as rice, flour and baby formula. It also includes prosthetics, hearing aids, and GI-tubes. It includes just about everything that is needed for hospitals and clinics to operate, from diagnostic machines, anesthetics, surgical supplies, and everything in between. For families, aid can include tents, first aid, diapers, and hygiene products.
Had it not been for the siege of Gaza that has been going on since at least 2006, the Palestinians there would never need aid to begin with.
This provides both PR against the Palestinians and financial gain for the occupation. For the US audience, the PR angle is "why should we send our tax money to Palestinians?!" The financial angle is that US-funded aid will gradually be sourced from Israeli or Zionist-friendly corporations. Like an abusive spouse, the occupation’s end-goal is to cut off Gaza from the rest of the world. Taking control of what aid goes in not only does that, but also further puts the people of Gaza in the hostage position.
At least 162 UN staff have been murdered by the occupation since October. The US and Israel have worked together to sideline the UN, particularly the WFP, and discredit all of their agencies, particularly the UNRWA. The US needed to position itself as the aid provider, and it could not do that if the occupation simply let the existing UN / NGO aid move freely. Reports at least as early as February showed the occupation attempting to let NGO aid through channels other than UN staff, NGO or Palestinian officials; these channels are mainly family groups working directly with the occupation. However, the occupation has no right over how aid is channeled because the aid is not provided by them to begin with.
There has been no shortage, both before and after October of 2023, of documentation of children being gunned down by IOF soldiers. Israeli officials such as Eylon Levi and Aviva Klompas have responded on record with photos of random teens posing with guns with the implication that the murdered Palestinian children were ‘not innocent’.”
This is coordinated with Egypt’s CIA-backed military government.
The “Israeli Occupation Force” is a term used by pro-freedom people instead of “IDF,” Israeli Defense Force. Part of that logic is to not give a group of murderers the honor of calling them what they wish to be called, but instead call them what they are.
The Library of Great the Omari Mosque and The Byzantine Church are amongst dozens ancient sites to have been leveled. Many were providing shelter to displaced and orphaned children, pregnant women and people with disabilities such as severe Down's syndrome or cerebral palsy.
Many buildings in Gaza have been taken down by controlled demolitions.
eastern area of Palestine, commonly called the West Bank.
falaah: rural person or farmer.
I don't think Israel will be successful. It is now hated all over the world for the genocide their committing and their other horrific violations of international law.
